The University of Louisville Dance Theatre will present its "SPRING GALA" on Fri. May 15 and Sat. May 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Margaret Comstock Concert Hall, U of L School of Music.

Leadership Louisville has lined up three impressive, dynamic women as keynote speakers for its 100 Wise Women series. This unique and lively forum connects emerging women leaders with experienced, successful women, and it has been well-received. Since the series started in 2007, every event has sold out.

University of Louisville and the student government association which backed it, unveiled a meal plan last spring that they said was prompted by longstanding requests by students for more and better dining options on campus according to an article in yesterday's Courier-Journal.

Family Scholar House, formerly known as Project Women, is hosting a Women's Health Fair as a part of National Women's Health Week. The Metro Office for Women and Norton Cancer Institute are partnering to provide mammography screenings, clinical breast exams, and pap smears at this health fair and others throughout the week.

"We know that this will create hardship for some of our students. We wish we didn't have to increase it," said President James R Ramsey during a budget forum on the Belknap campus that attracted only a handful of students according to a report in the Courier-Journal today.
