It’s your money: student fees

Every semester, full time students pay $202 of bundled student fees with their tuition. Since they are bundled with tuition, man students do not even realize they are paying them.
The Student Services Fee funds the intramurals staff and facilities, the student activities staff, and the disability resource center.


Navigating the Ekstrom Library

Incoming students could be intimidated by the overwhelming sight of row after row of shelves filled with books. They may think of the library as just a place to go to do research for class and access reference materials, all while being supervised by a librarian.

Located in a downtown metropolitan area, University of Louisville students should be knowledgeable of certain roads on and around campus to help them reach their destinations easier.
One piece of advice is to take various ways to and from campus to better acquaint yourself with the geographic location of the campus.

During a recent visit to the Digital Media Suite portion of the REACH computer lab. Sumalatha Santapuram, who sometimes goes by Suma, was kind enough to not only welcome me into her office space but allowed me to pick her brain for readers, as well. Santapuram told how she traveled to the city of Louisville from India because of this university's reputation in the field of engineering.
