Louisville will play their second bye-game in a row when the Bucknell Bison come to town Sunday afternoon.

There is little to no doubt about the outcome of this matchup from the opening tip. Louisville is a big, stronger, more athletic, more skilled, and better-coached team than Bucknell. This will once again be another opportunity for head coach Jeff Walz and company to work on their weakness, try new lineups, settle in on a rotation, and overall try to improve for later in the season.

I would expect to once again see 12 players hit the court on Sunday, with little to no players getting extended minutes. Expect big Olivia Cochran and guard Sydney Taylor to once again lead the offense, and look to see guard Jayda Curry and freshman big Elif Istanbulluoglu take steps forward.

For the offense as a whole, I want to see the Cards do a better job protecting the ball. The Cards have turned the ball over at least 13 a game this season, which is not a sustainable amount for a team that can be one of the top teams in a loaded ACC.

Louisville should cruise to an easy victory and a 4-0 start to the season.
