The University of Louisville baseball team's season ended Saturday in California, as the Cards lost to Cal State Fullerton 11-2. 

The University of Louisville has sent out two crime notifications to its student body in the past week.  The first, sent out last Tuesday, regarded a robbery outside the Ekstrom Library.  The second, e-mailed today, said that a man on a bicycle tried to grab a female student's purse as she walked down Cardinal Boulevard.

With a chance to advance to a NCAA Super Regional, the No. 12 Cardinals were unable to defeat the Vanderbilt Commodores Sunday night at Jim Patterson Stadium, ending their seven game home winning streak.

The University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams earned three automatic bids to the NCAA Championships on day one and collected three additional automatic bids for a total of six to the NCAA Championships on the final day of the 2009 NCAA Mideast Regionals held at Cardinal Park.

The University of Louisville baseball team beat Vanderbilt 5-3 Monday night to advance to the super regionals.

Starting in the fall, University of Louisville student veterans will have their own office to support their academic endeavors. 

The university has received a $2.3 million grant from the federal government to help prepare Kentucky for future pandemics.

Many University of Louisville graduates can only hope to follow in the footsteps of Camille Cothron former member of Chi Omega Sorority and graduate of U of L with a degree in Interior Design.  Cothron has just recently made her national debut on "Dress my Nest," which airs on Style Network.

According to an e-mail sent today by Provost Shirley Willihnganz to the student body, a probable case of the H1N1 virus was identified today at the Student Health Center.
