According to an e-mail sent today by Provost Shirley Willihnganz to the student body, a probable case of the H1N1 virus was identified today at the Health Sciences Center.
The e-mail said that the student does not live on campus, and has had “limited contact with
other students, faculty and staff since being seen at our Student Health Center.” Antiviral medication has been provided to anyone suspected to have come in contact with the student.
The university has developed a website to provide updates about the H1N1 infection at U of L, and to provide tips to prevent further infection.
