SAB announces this week’s events

First up, on Tuesday, April 19, we have a full day of events for you to enjoy. From 11:00 till 2:00, the Inflatable Fair will be held on the West Lawn. It includes jousting, a rock wall, and an obstacle course.

Then, starting at noon, go over to the Red Barn for a taquito eating contest. You have a chance to win a trip to Chicago for the national taquito eating contest.

Next, at 4:00 on the West Lawn, be prepared for the final Battle of the Bands. The six winners of the preliminaries and three of the second place bands will be playing for a chance to be named the best band of the year.

On Thursday, come check out “Sex Signals,” which takes place at 8pm in the Floyd Theatre. It is a humorous look at a serious subject, and it should be a lot of fun!!!

Finally, on Friday at 5:00, come check out the 17th Annual Crawfish Boil. Admission is $5, and the entertainment is being provided by “The Fabulous Leopard Percussionists.”

There are a lot of fun events happening on campus for students to de-stress before finals.
