The University of Louisville received a $900,000 National Institutes of Health grant, to test a new procedure for treating autism.
The study will test the effects of a low-frequency magnetic field placed around a patient’s head. Half of the study group will be treated solely with the magnetic field, while the other half will also receive behavioral therapy.
