• The swimming and diving teams set 22 school records at the Conference USA meet over the weekend. Adam Madarassy was named Co-men’s Swimmer of the Meet, while Amanda Taylor took home Freshman of the Year honors. Robbie Lewis was named Diver of the Meet.
• The baseball team twice defeated Toledo over the weekend but dropped the third game on Sunday. The team improved to a 5-2 record after the series.
• Taquan Dean scored 14 points in Louisville’s 53-44 victory over Memphis on Saturday. The men’s basketball team will face Charlotte Thursday night at 7 p.m. The home game marks the end of Conference USA season play for the Cards. Senior Night festivities are also expected.
• Hampered by injuries, the women’s tennis team went 1-1 over the weekend. The Cards fell to Western Michigan 4-3 Saturday, but defeated Marquette 5-2 Sunday.
• Senior Kelley Bowman earned fifth place in the high jump in the C-USA Indoor Championships. The women’s track and field team finished 11th overall.
