The Rauch Planetarium will be showing The Spectacular for free tomorrow, Oct. 21, at noon, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The Spectacular celebrates the University’s successes, including raising over $1 billion for the Capital Campaign.

“The Spectacular was an awe-inspiring presentation that really highlighted how far UofL has come as a university,” John Drees of the U of L Communications and Marketing department said. “While not quite the same as being there in person, seeing it in high-definition on the 55-foot dome of the Planetarium is going to be impressive. It’s something everyone on campus should experience.”

Light refreshments will precede each showing, which will include a sneak preview of the planetarium’s Halloween-themed laser show, Laser Fright Night.

Rauch Planetarium, the Great Places to Work Committee, University Advancement and the Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs sponsor this event.
