This spring semester will bring several talented artists to landmark Louisville venues such as Headliners Music Hall, The Louisville Palace Theatre and the new downtown KFC Yum! Center. From a Steely Dan Tribute Band on Feb. 18 at Headliners, to Lady Gaga on March 12 at the KFC Yum! Center, a variety of artists from a plethora of backgrounds and musical styles will be adding flavor to a city known for its tasty music scene.

Classic rock lovers are sure to be pleased with the options they have this spring. In addition to the Steely Dan Tribute Band, Headliners will also be hosting ZoSo – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience on Feb. 10. For Zeppelin fans who still follow the one and only Robert Plant, he and his Band of Joy will be playing at The Louisville Palace on April 8. Three days prior, on April 5, Rush will roll into town for a stop at the KFC Yum! Center on their Time Machine Tour.

If classic rock isn’t your scene, don’t worry. There are plenty of other touring artists who are sure to appeal to your particular palate. Headliners will host a lineup of musical acts that are sure to please alternative, independent and jam-band-oriented listeners. These include Ekoostik Hookah with MC Sparkplug on Jan. 28, Tokyo Police Club on Feb. 9, the Floorwalkers on Feb. 11, Railroad Earth on March 4, Keller Williams on March 5, Ra Ra Riot on March 18, and JJ Grey of Mofro with Shannon McNally on March 25.

For country fans and southern rockers, check out Kid Rock on Feb. 11 or Brad Paisley on Feb. 19, both performing at the KFC Yum! Center.

Fans of orchestral performances should check out the Louisville Orchestra’s s celebration of Elvis Presley, with special guest Robert Shaw on Feb. 12 at The Louisville Palace. If you can’t attend that one, the Louisville Orchestra along with Bernadette Peters will be performing a Broadway Gala on Feb. 19, also at The Palace.

Stand-up comedy enthusiasts will even have the opportunity to share a few laughs with Jerry Seinfeld on March 11 at The Palace.

Spring brings rain showers, warmer weather and, this year, great entertainment to Louisville. For more information on spring concert schedules, visit the venues’ websites at kfcyumcenter.com, louisvillepalace.com and headlinerslouisville.com.
