Student with gun removed from campus

At around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, faculty members at the College of Education and Human Development observed a student displaying a handgun. The student was detained by faculty until University Police arrived, eventually removing the student from the Belknap Campus.

It is not known if the student has been charged, but a crime alert was sent out to University of Louisville students via email roughly one hour after the incident.
