CHI OMEGA CHILI COOK-OFF

Join the Beta Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega as they host the eighth annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Joe’s Crab Shack on the River. Come out and enjoy all-you-can-eat chili, play some corn hole and participate in a silent auction. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any Chi Omega or at the door. ‘PLANES, TRAINS AND SUPERHEROES’

The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft recently opened an exhibit that appeals to the kid in everyone. The display includes more than 100 toys from decades past. Featured items include pedal cars, a Caterpillar bulldozer, a Toonerville Trolley board game, and a collection of black superhero action figures. GREEK COOKING CLASSES

Come down to the Clifton Center where Chef Maria Bell is putting a Mediterranean twist on college cooking. NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD DANCE

This themed dance party will take place at the Red Barn and will feature dance demonstrations, a costume contest and lots of music. The theme is zombies, but participants are encouraged to dress in whatever costumes they like. The event is sponsored by Dancing with the Cards, an RSO for the instruction and enjoyment of ballroom dancing. Snacks will also be provided.
