It looks like all you studious folks are finally getting into the swing of things – everyone with their schoolbooks and lunch bags, riding by on your bicycles. I’m starting to see the same people walk by every day. Well, every year for that matter. I wish I could have a change of scenery. But alas, I am confined to my solitary space, perched high above all of you and intelligent beyond your wildest dreams.

I’ve been hearing a lot of whining about the price of books lately. Really? Are books all that expensive? I’ve never been one to need many books. You guessed it. I got it all right here in my all-knowing mind. I do enjoy that Stephenie Meyer though. And anything based on the novel “Push” by Sapphire.

One other thing: What in the world is a coursepack? That sounds as if it should be an item for traveling purposes. I hear them mentioned from passersby and see nothing but a giant heap of dead tree wrapped in a nice construction-papered covering. That doesn’t seem like much fun for you guys at all. Are any of them based on the novel “Push” by Sapphire? That kind of coursepack might be enjoyable. That would be about the only enjoyable kind.

It does sadden The Thinker to, um, think that all of you are spending all of your hard earned money on schoolbooks that you’ll never be able to sell back. How on earth do you find money for beer? Is there a beer coursepack? Would that not be the best?! Oh, the wonder!

Well, as Lauren Hill said, I guess everything is everything. After winter must come spring, and maybe you’ll get something out of those books after all. Boy do I love some Lauren Hill.
