Mini Cupcake Christmas Tree from:Amanda Osborne
You will need:
-Mini cupcake holders
-1 box of cake mix
-1 jar of icing
-Red and green sprinkles
-3 eggs
-1/3 cup of vegetable oil
-1 1/4 cup of water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the batter, eggs, vegetable oil and water in a large bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well-blended. Evenly space out the cupcake holders on the cookie sheet, 3 or 4 to each row. Add batter to each. Fill them halfway. Place into oven and cook for the amount of time listed on the box. Remove from oven. Let cool for about 20 minutes. On a serving plate, arrange cupcakes in the shape of a Christmas tree. Ice each one individually. After cupcakes are properly placed, use the red and green sprinkles to decorate.
Holiday Rice Krispie Treats from: Amanda Osborne
You will need:
-6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
-3 tbsps. of butter or margarine
-1 10 oz. bag of marshmallows
-Red and green decorating gel
-9 by 13 in. pan
Directions:
On low heat, melt the butter. After it is completely melted, add the marshmallows. Stir until they are completely melted. Add in the Rice Krispies. Sir well, until everything is mixed together. Spray pan with cooking spray. Pour mix into the pan. Make sure all parts are evenly distributed. Place in refrigerator. Wait a half-hour for everything to cool. Then cut into individual squares. Decorate the Rice Krispie treats with the red and green decorating gel.
Easy Hors D’oeuvres from:Paige Quiggins
You will need:
-1 pkg. of crescent roll dough
-1 cup pre-cooked chicken strips
-1 tomato or red pepper, cut into strips
-Shredded cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place all of the dough triangles in a line. Fill each one with a couple of strips of chicken, tomato, red pepper and cheese to your liking. Roll up each one like a traditional crescent roll. Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until golden brown
