“Under The Iron Sea” is the most recent CD from the Brit-Rock band Keane. Finding themselves on the verge of a break-up, the band decided to let their feelings be the inspiration for new material.

The level of emotion in the album is evident through the vocals of Tom Chaplin, whose voice greatly resembles U2 lead singer Bono. According to Keane’s followers, the piano has always and will always allow the band to sound very similar to fellow Brit-Rock band Coldplay. If there is one thing that creates a new sound for the band, it is the emotional intensity of the music. Even if this is their angry or intense CD, it is still on the incredibly mellow and light side of rock.

The 11-track CD includes the new singles “Is It Any Wonder” and “Crystal Ball.” You can purchase the CD online or in stores now. Keane will begin their North American tour on September 17th in Chicago, and are scheduled to perform 12 times across the United States. To learn more about Keane, visit www.keanemusic.com.
