Meet and greet with
Louisville Mayor
Volunteers are needed to attend the Mayor Jerry Abramson’s press conference on Wed., Feb. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
It will be held at Louisville’s city hall located at 527 West Jefferson Street. It will be in the mayors annex on the 4th floor. There will be a meet and greet with photo-op starting at 9:45 if you care to take part.
“It’s a partnership I created with the mayor in essence for more community engagement,” stated Mike Dennis, University of Louisville Student Government Association Executive Vice-President. “I started meeting with him last semester and we worked out some ideas to foster more collaboration for our students,” he said. One of SGA’s pillars this year is community engagement. “U of L prides itself on the relationship with the city but I wasn’t seeing enough collaboration,” said Dennis.
