In the story “U of L screening patients for face transplant” that appeared in the Oct. 25 issue of The Cardinal, the story implied that researchers at the university had begun or were very near to begin screening patients for facial transplant surgery. There was a discrepency with information in the story, and in fact there is no reportable timeline for screening of patients at this time.
