The University of Louisville Department of Communication is set to hold an international film festival over the next four weeks.

The first film of the series is “Goodbye Lenin,” a German film about the relationship between a mother and her son during the fall of East Germany and the transitional world that derives from this. The film will be shown on Thursday Feb. 8 (7-9pm) and Friday Feb. 9 (12-2pm) in the Chao Auditorium/Ekstrom Library.

A discussion and refreshments will follow each Thursday screening.
