The University of Louisville Cardinals have scured the overall number one seed, and have been placed in the Midwestern Regional. They will play their first-round game in Dayton, OH on Friday. They will play the winner of the play-in game Tuesday, between Morehead St. and Alabama St.
The Cards improved their overall position after winning the Big East conference in the regular season, and the Big East tournament in New York Saturday night.
