ESPN has announced that College GameDay will travel to Louisville next Saturday. This is the first time ever the Saturday hit morning-show has came to Louisville for football. The stage is now set for Louisville to make a big splash in the national spotlight.

Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and the whole ESPN gang will be in attendance watching the top 25 match up of No. 13 Louisville and No. 3 Florida State. In week one, GameDay went to Lambeau Field in Wisconsin to watch Wisconsin and LSU battle head-to-head. Last weekend, the crew was on site at Bristol Motor Speedway for Tennessee’s 45-24 win over Virginia Tech. The attendance of 156,990 set a new record for the most attended college football game ever.

The early-season conference match-up is a noon kick-off. The exact location of which location on campus will be use has yet to be released. Betting money says it will take place at Lynn Stadium or Jim Patterson Stadium, located right beside Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

The potential top 10 ACC match-up is a duel between two top, young quarterbacks, explosive offenses and tough defenses. This is a perfect mix for a great game and a major reason why GameDay chose to come to The Ville.
