Every single year when October ends and November begins, people queue their Christmas music and festive decorations. It’s officially December, so there’s no more hiding from the holiday spirit. To see if others were as excited as I imagined them to be, I asked what holiday activities the city of Louisville had to offer. Senior Katie Cambron said, “I know that there is a light show somewhere but I’m not really sure. I guess I don’t really know any holiday activities to do here.”

With a sizable student body originating from outside of Louisville, I wanted to let people know what they could be doing this holiday season. Bailey Koval, a freshman here at U of L said, “I would really like to know what goes on here during the holidays because back home we have a ton of fun stuff you could do. Especially when it snows!”

Here’s a list of fun holiday activities to do in Louisville this winter season:

Students are welcome to come in their pajamas as their learn finals tips such as how to flash nap, while also enjoying free complimentary massages.

Textbooks and Treats: Following Pancakes-N-Pajamas, the same committees bring students “Textbooks and Treats,” on Dec. 2nd from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. They will be projecting the U of L Men’s game against Michigan State, while offering a range of delicious “game day” treats such as Insomnia cookies and Mellow Mushroom.
