This year’s Homecoming activities did not disappoint.
Mehak Bajaj was named Homecoming Queen and OJ Oleka was named Homecoming King. Bajaj, a senior psychology major and Oleka a senior marketing and political science major, were both sponsored by Kappa Delta Sorority.
The Homecoming Dance was held under a tent on the West Lawn next to the Student Activities Center and entertainment was provided by “Howl at the Moon.” Though attendance at the dance was sparse in the early part of the evening, things picked up later on as participants engaged in a night of fun, dancing and socializing.
The Homecoming football game saw the Cardinal’s pull off a 42-23 over the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State and improve their record to 4-2.
Other events included the wet and wild Foam Party, the exciting Step Show, a fierce dodgeball competition and several days of good free food.
