Love:
University of Louisville administrators have worked with private development companies, such as University of Louisville Properties, in order to increase the number of students on campus, which will only enhance and improve campus life. Recent improvements to the certain residence halls, such as the renovation in Unitas Tower and the legislative pending renovation to Miller Hall, highlight the university’s work in improving the living conditions for students.
Hate:
Escalating room costs and crumbling residence halls don’t sound too appealing. Actually it doesn’t make much sense either. Although legislation hampers certain improvements, it still isn’t an excuse to provide poor living conditions to incoming students and those who actually want to live on campus. More students would reside on campus if U of L would provide facilities worthy of all those pretty pennies they’re asking for.
