Ticket tailgate set for next sport sesasons
On April 20 from 3- 4 p.m., students purchasing season tickets must go to SAC Gym to receive their group numbers. Groups are made up of 25 students but every individual will receive their own number within the group.
From 4:30-5 p.m. a drawing will be held in which group numbers will be announced after they are drawn.
The group numbers will be recorded in the order they are drawn and seating will be based on when the group number was drawn.
After the drawing, students must attend the U of L Spring football game, where at halftime, vouchers that will be given to students, then they must take them to the box office outside the stadium, after the game.
There is a total of 2,300 football and basketball combination season tickets and 700 football season tickets available to students.
Graduate students will not be participating in the lottery; instead they need to speak to their respective graduate school councils to determine how their school will distribute tickets.
However, incoming freshmen will be reserved 400 football and basketball combination season athletic tickets.
