30th McDonald’s All-American games come to the ‘Ville
The 30th McDonald’s All American Games are coming to Louisville. The touring show has featured other cities in the past like San Diego, Chicago and St. Louis.
The games benefit the local Ronald McDonald House charities, and this year, they help the Kentuckiana Chapter. Since the games’ inception in 1977, the games have raised over $5 million dollars.
Last week, a press conference was held to announce the coaches. Like in the past, the games will bring in local high school coaches to coach the teams. The games feature coaches Steve Wright of South Laurel High School in London, Ky., and Gary Forrest of Oldham County High School, as well as Donna Moir of Sacred Heart High School here in Louisville. The players will be announced next week.
