Recent news may report working with Lindsay Lohan, while making a movie isn’t a treat, but watching one of her movies usually is. There is something about Lohan movies that can leave you in a feel-good mood. “Just My Luck” furthers Lohan’s trend for success.

The movie opens with an introduction to the perfect life of Ashley Albright, Lohan’s character. Her trademark is the luck that blesses her greatly each and every day. She has an awesome job as a public relations consultant, a wonderful apartment, and many other surprises such as being able to hale a taxi in an instant in bustling Manhattan.

The other side of the coin is Jake Hardin, who is played by actor Chris Pine. Jake is everything Ashley isn’t. The two characters eventually meet, and the tables turn.

The movie follows Ashley trying to track Jake down, and the mishaps that go along with her mission.

The movie was nominated for three Teen Choice Awards, including Best Chick Flick, which is exactly what this movie is. It has all the ingredients: a romantic plot, handsome male love interest, and girly gags.

The story plays out very smoothly, and comes together to make a great comedy, especially for a young female audience or those who are Lindsay Lohan fans.
