Life-long Cardinal fan Juan Harris, Sr., sits on his 2001 Suzuki Mayabusa 1300. What sets this bike apart from all others? This Suzuki is a Cardinal.
With a large Louisville Cardinal logo painted down the front sides of the bike, it’s hard not to see Harris coming. The art was done by a friend of Harris’ in New Haven who is also a die-hard Cats fan.
The bike doesn’t come out often, only on sunny days, Cards games, and the Derby.
You will never see the safety-conscious Harris without a helmet, even though he has never laid down a bike during his 20 years of riding.
Harris is a junior majoring in Sports Medicine at the University of Louisville.
