• Congratulations to Louisville’s Jazz Covington who was named a finalist for the 2005 Kodak/WBCA All-American Basketball Team. Covington leads the Cards in scoring and rebounding. • Coach Prado and the baseball team had a solid showing over the break, finishing. The Cards lost to Evansville but tallied three wins over Northern Illinois (8-7), along with two victories over the University of Cincinnati. Results of the third game of the series were not available at press time. • The softball team closed out the weekend with a 1-0 victory over South Florida in extra innings. The game capped off a three-game series with the Bulls. Game one ended in a 6-2 Cardinal defeat, but the Cards rebounded and won two straight. Louisville only gave up two games all weekend. U of L improved to a 14-10 record with the win. • Louisville’s women’s soccer team announced their spring schedule slated to begin Friday at 6 p.m. against Indiana. Schedule highlights include away games against Purdue and Xavier and the home alumnae game set for April 9 at 2 p.m.
