Rice postpones visit
Dr. Condoleeza Rice, the Bush administration’s national security advisor who was scheduled to speak at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium yesterday, has postponed her visit to U of L.
According to Rice’s press official, the cancellation is the result of a scheduling conflict. Though a date has not been set, Rice plans to visit the university sometime in the future.
Rice’s presentation, “A Balance of Power that Favors Freedom,” was to focus on the Bush administration’s new national security strategy, which is available at www.whitehouse.gov/nsc/nss.html.
