'Up All Night' was once again a success! The winners from the different events are listed below.
The Cardinal called attention to an ongoing and serious problem at U of L a few weeks ago: the relatively high amount of crime on and around the school's campuses. Since I first started at U of L, I have consistently received more crime alerts than homework assignments each semester. Liz identified the reason for this when she said, "... [W]e're easy targets, college students are more vulnerable." It is not difficult to understand why this is the case.
Every year, we at the Cardinal invite the SGA candidates running for the top four positions to come into our office for a chance to ask questions of them, chat, and get to know each of them a little better. We do this so that we may endorse the candidates that we feel are the most qualified for the offices they seek. This year was no different.

Dissatisfied with student government, candidates Laughlin and Frizzell said they seek to reverse the indifference they've seen in student representation.

Lt. Col. Kenny Brown of DPS said Willis McClain, a person of interest in two on-campus robberies and at least 12 acts of aggressive panhandling at the Student Activities Center, was arrested on Feb. 16 after being pulled over by LMPD on an unrelated charge.
The University of Louisville Association of Black Students is having their week from Feb. 23 to 27. The week will include food, discussions and movies throughout U of L's campus and free appetizers Friday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Carly Rae's located in Old Louisville.
ABS became neighbors with Office for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Services at the beginning of last semester.
At this point of the year, the University of Louisville women's tennis team isn't where they hoped they would be; sitting on a losing record. However, the Cards are looking for a fresh start later this week.
The Cardinals will host Middle Tennessee State University on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Bass Rudd Tennis Center, their last match before hosting Xavier on March 13.

Discount tickets to the Kentucky Center Presents Arts Program, will soon be available for University of Louisville students, faculty and staff.
"This does not include some programs that are produced by other organizations, i.e. PNC Broadway," said Director of Student Activities Tim Moore.
How downtrodden must those poor souls who, with their Obama stickers affixed so closely to their racing hearts, boldly stepped into the voting booth and cast their ballot for change.
