Bryne ends his reign as U of L marching band director

Greg Bryne recently announced that he will step down as director of the University of Louisville marching band at the end of the 2010 – 2011 school year. Bryne, who  has been the director since 2000, will maintain his faculty status after the spring 2011 semester, teaching percussion performance in the School of Music.

The announcement was made well over a semester before Bryne ends his directorship so that the School of Music will have time to find a replacement.
