Ramsey answers questions from the board

Recently, members of the editorial board of The Louisville Cardinal sat down with University of Louisville President Dr. James R. Ramsey.  In the meeting, it was revealed the smoking ban's full implementation has been pushed back to November 2010, from June.  The following are excerpts from that meeting.


Cards come from behind to defeat Georgetown College in opening exhibition, 80-68

The University of Louisville men's basketball team struggled in the first half of their first exhibition game against the Tigers of Georgetown College. However, the Tigers, who are ranked No. 7 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, were not able capitalize on the Cardinals' mistakes. Louisville rallied in the second half to win 80-68.


Cards prepare for Arkansas State

After a 41-10 defeat at the hands of the fifth-ranked University of Cincinnati Bearcats, Louisville will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, against the Red Wolves of Arkansas State University.

With 11 wins and only two losses on the season, the University of Louisville men's soccer team is all smiles as they continue to dominate their opponents.  The Cardinals have a hunger to win, and keep improving.
