The Direct Action & Research Training Center will be having an informational meeting on University of Louisville Belkap campus Mon., Feb. 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the Ulmer Center, room 76A. Defending the ‘Chomp’

In a direct response to the 'Stop the Chomp' campaign proposed by Andrew Krumme, I have recognized the argument proposed and frankly it is weak and uncalled for. Krumme's article was not only ridiculous but unsportsmanlike as he took a low blow to the spirit group identified as the Cardinal Chompers.

Neighboring and cutting through the Belknap Campus of the University of Louisville are miles of train tracks used by heavy locomotives and countless railcars that pass by on an hourly basis. Just two weeks ago in Bullitt County, a train hauling toxic chemicals derailed and caught fire, forcing the county to declare an emergency.
