After seeing the "Vagina Monologues" for the first time last week I cannot help but wonder aloud, what is all the fuss about? Is it the title? Is it that those who are ashamed or cannot fathom their own sexual organs choose prudish censorship? A woman complained of the title in Atlantic Beach, Fla.

Most students at the University of Louisville have tried their best to avoid the icy cold temperatures, but freshman Zachary Seiler plans to brave the weather of Belknap Campus in nothing but a Speedo. Seiler, a chemistry major, was approached by members of the Resident Student Association from Unitas Hall and was asked to help generate fundraising ideas to help support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Children's Hospital.

Performing arts program adds diversity to stage, concentrates on history of black theater

The African American Theater Program became a part of the University of Louisville Theater Department in 1993. And after getting some national attention for its work, the program is something many involved with it are proud of. "In 1996, there were only four undergraduate students involved in the program, and no graduate students," said Professor Lundeana Thomas, Director of the AATP.
