Event to encourage ‘sexier, safer’ break

The Feminist Alliance of the University of Louisville wants to help students kick off a "sexier and safer" spring break vacation. The Feminist Alliance will host the first "Sexier and Safer Spring Break" event in the Red Barn tomorrow from 11-1 p.m. The group wants to warn students and discuss ways to prevent undesirable situations.

Online glitch affects voting For about two hours early yesterday around 2 a.m., students were unable to vote in the SGA online elections for executive officers. A computer glitch made the ballot for those races inaccessible. All students can now vote for the top four positions, Supreme Court officials said yesterday.

Student jumped, robbed near campus

A University of Louisville student was attacked and robbed north of the Belknap Campus Thursday at 1702 S. Brook St., according to the Louisville Metro Police Department's fourth division. Cardinal honored at conference The Louisville Cardinal newspaper received ten awards at Friday's Kentucky Intercollegiate Press Association awards. The first place honors included Editor in Chief Chris Brown's 2006 SGA voter guide and house ad, and former Managing Production Manager Terra Simms' and Brown's photo essay on the Ekstrom expansion.
