It took Savannah State nearly 16 minutes to score its first point as Louisville coasted to an 87-26 victory at the KFC YUM! Center on Monday night.

The Cardinals opened the game on an extended 29-0 run and headed into halftime leading 41-7.

Montrezl Harrell scored 15 points and pulled in nine rebounds.  Wayne Blackshear finished with 13 points and five rebounds.

But, the Cardinal defensive effort and offensive ineptitude by Savannah State stole the show as Louisville moved to 4-0 on the year.

Savannah State was just 10-of-51 from the field while committing 26 turnovers.  Louisville had 16 steals and blocked eight shots.  Chinanu Onuaku finished with a game high six blocks.  The freshman center added ten points and nine rebounds.

As his team prepares for Cleveland State on Wednesday, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino said he would not watch game film from tonight, a first in his coaching career.
