Women’s soccer defeated Rutgers and Seton Hall to improve their record to 9-5-3
Football fell in their Big East opener 25-16 on the road against the Bearcats of Cincinnati. The Cards are now 2-4 for the season and 0-1 in conference play.
The men’s golf team tied for 12th at the Bank of Tennessee at Blackthorn Club.
Field hockey lost to Villanova 2-1 Saturday causing their record to fall to 8-6 for the reason. The field hockey team is ranked 20th in the nation.
The No. 9 men’s soccer team beat Cincinnati and fell to St. Johns bringing their record to 8-4-1.
Both men and women’s swimming and diving teams swept Xavier in their season opener.
Sumit Gupta and Van Damrongsri won the “A” doubles division of the Louisville Invitational tennis tournament. Jonathan Kuhn won the “B” singles title.
