For those still trying to figure out places to use meal swipes on campus, try the Mediterranean style restaurant Olilo, located in the SAC.

Their menu has three steps to it: first choose your base, then your protein and finally your spread. The options for these three steps are both delicious and healthy for you.

For your base you can choose super greens, quinoa tabbouleh or flatbread. For protein, there is chicken, falafel, salmon or lamb. The spread has options of traditional hummus, edamame-avacado hummus, tzazkiki, harissa, baba ghanoush, romesco or cumin scallion hummus. You can choose to have three spreds or two, and some crunchy pita chips.

Student Holly Berry decided expand her palate and was not disappointed.

Berry and her friend Janice Chen said it is refreshing to have a healthier option on campus. Although an occasional trip to Chick-fil-a or Wendy’s is enjoyable, it is always nice to have another option that will fill you up and keep the freshman 15 off.

Even Olilo employees enjoy the food.

Brieon Taylor and Tia Thomas are two employees of the dining area, they explained how Olilo has been doing since opening. It turns out business has been booming.

Olilo is owned by award-winning and first female “Iron Chef” Cat Cora. Cora decided to team up with Aramark to give businesses, schools, universities and hospitals healthier, tastier food options. The line goes fast and the employees will answer any questions you have about the menu.

It is easy to pick grease over green, but if you are in desperate need of some yummy super foods, think of Olilo in the SAC. It is a great change of pace from the other options on campus and will give you the energy you need to have a great semester.
