Although many restaurants are closed on Christmas, there are still a variety of places that offer a chance to dine out on Dec. 25. We can all agree cooking isn’t for everyone. 

The Rivue is offering a buffet style experience from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas day.  Reservations are necessary. The buffet will be $50 for adults, children $25 and kids under three are free. If you’re in need of a fancy dinner, 25 stories high over looking the beautiful view of downtown Louisville, option A might be a suitable choice for you.

BLU Italian Grill, with a vibrant bar and a romantic setting, is yet another restaurant with a buffet option on Christmas. With a little cheaper price and tons of options. They have anything from Kentucky ham, pasta or biscuits to eggs and waffles, with an additional 30 other selections. It is $39 for adults, $19 for children and kids under four eat free.

Mitchell’s Fish Market is offering an upscale seafood dinner featuring all your favorite seafood and in addition, they’re also including a traditional three-course turkey and stuffing feast from 12 p.m. to 10.

Looking for somewhere not fancy, but casual enough to sit down and relax with a few close family members or friends? Sapporo off Bardstown Road will be staying open from 5 p.m. to 10. Louisville’s primary sushi spot will be serving their delicious sushi rolls and hibachi.

If you are in need of a different traditional and authentic food experience, an admired place visited on Christmas day is Banh Mi Hero. This full-service Vietnamese restaurant serves tasty sandwiches, Vietnamese tacos and even Vietnamese drinks like Caphe Vietnam or Jasmine tea. If you are in the need of some delicious authentic food, visit Banh Mi Hero after 4 p.m.
