In the heart of downtown Louisville, where the green grass has mostly been covered in pavement, people would hardly expect to find a place that sells garden-fresh food.
It was announced on August 17th that Grammy Award-winning band OK Go would be headlining the Discover Louisville Festival, the first annual concert of its kind at the University of Louisville. The festival will be sponsored by the University and various businesses around the Louisville area, including Ear-X-tacy and local radio station 91.9 WFPK.
Clayton Barnes was just an average student on the University of Louisville campus. At one point in time he lived in Threlkeld Hall, he had a job working in the Student Activities Center gym and he loved to play sports.
Anyone who has had the opportunity to watch the University of Louisville men's soccer team play during the last two seasons knows Colin Rolfe can score goals.

Take a quick stroll down Eastern Parkway, just past Denny's and through University Park Apartments. Students from the University of Louisville may find themselves at the front door of Nord's Bakery.

Around the University of Louisville one can find a McDonald's, a Wendy's, a Subway, no less than three pizza restaurants, and both Chinese and Mongolian cuisine, all within walking distance. Bizarrely, until last year, if a student wanted to walk to a Mexican restaurant, the only option would have been Taco Bell.
It's that time of year again. It's a time for a brand new start, academically and athletically. Out of the 21 men's and women's sports teams, preparation for one team in particular has involved substantial work.
