Kragthorpe, Cardinals hit turf for scrimmage

It was a hectic off-season that included a coaching change at the head spot for the University of Louisville football team. New coach Steve Kragthorpe and the Cardinals started their spring season on March 30 and haven't looked back yet. The Cardinals return eight starters on the offensive side of the ball, but lost seven on defense.

India Night was initiated by the Student Activities Board in 2001, along with other ethnic groups in an attempt to create an awareness on campus.

Last Friday the Student Activities Board threw the first "Rock Out on the West Lawn." Three bands played while students enjoyed food from Mark's Feed Store, ice cream and a free concert, all courtesy of the variety committee of SAB. As part of a statewide effort to increase voter turnout among college students, the office of Secretary of State Trey Grayson is hosting a mock primary at the University of Louisville Thursday. Using electronic voting machines, students will be able to cast their mock votes for governor and lieutenant governor candidates in the Democratic or Republican primary.
