As the spring semester begins at the University of Louisville, campus safety remains a prevalent issue with many students. Several students have professed their anxiety about walking on campus after dark. Sophomore education major Stephanie Ward said she feels a female student is taking a huge risk by walking on campus alone at night.

There wasn't an empty seat to be found in Bingham 100 Friday, as more than 200 students, faculty and others gathered to pay tribute at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Service. The service is a yearly tradition for this weekend and it began with greetings from the Provost.
