UofL’s Garden Commons Introduces New Aquaponics System to Community Composting Project

On the last day of Sustainability Week, organized by the Garden Commons, the workshop began creating an aquaponics system for the UofL Community Composting Project. The aquaponics system operates in an eco-friendly shelter in an aquaculture tank with Tilapia using its waste to grow vegetables and filtered water for different plants.
