As part of a greater push for more security on campus, a new shuttle will begin a route today that stops at off-campus housing. TARC has dedicated one bus to serve as the shuttle.
The shuttle will complete a loop once every 20 minutes, and will run between the hours of 5 p.m. and 12:50 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The route will include the same on-campus stops as the normal campus shuttle, at the School of Music, Ekstrom Library and Thrust Theater. Off-campus housing serviced by the route will be Cardinal Towne, The Grove, Bettie Johnson, Community Park, Station House Apartments, The Bellamy, The Province and Family Scholar House.
The route was announced last week by President James Ramsey, in conjunction with many other safety measures for students who live off campus.
