A female student walking near the corner of Fifth and Lee streets was assaulted and transported to Sts. Mary and Elizabeth hospital on Wednesday at 3 p.m., according to a Belknap campus safety bulletin.
The student was struck in the face after encountering a group of males. One suspect, a 13-year old, was arrested by the LMPD in response to the incident.
In the safety bulletin, students were reminded to be wary of suspicious activity and to stay in groups.
