I am extremely fascinated by the people around me. Taking photos of them is how I relate this fascination to everybody else. It seems to me that everyone wants to be remembered or recognized somehow. This desire often opens up doors to curious people who wander around with cameras. I like doing honest photography; I prefer to know on some level who my subject is. Portraying people in the most authentic way possible makes other people interested. I like to think that it creates a sense of community, no matter where the story takes place.
