Sophomore goes distance in jump

The University of Louisville traveled to Akron, Ohio for the Big East Indoor Championships. The men's team went into the tournament ranked ninth in the Trackwire Top 25, the highest ranking in school history. SophomoreTone Belt had the longest recorded jump of the year going into the tournament and was ranked as the best collegiate long jumper in the country.

State senate stops partner benefit plan

On Thursday, the State Senate passed legislation that may reverse a University of Louisville policy extending health insurance benefits to domestic partners of unmarried employees, including same-sex couples. Literature conference brings scholars from around the world

The Conference on Literature and Culture since the 1900s, has been held annually at the University of Louisville campus for the last 35 years, and this year is no exception. The conference will be held Feb. 22-24, encouraging scholars from around the country to submit proposals, and, if selected, make presentations on any topic related to literature and/or culture since 1900.
