Louisville Metro Police responded to a robbery at the corner of South Fourth Street and Cardinal Boulevard March 12.

The armed robbery occurred in the parking lot of the PNC bank at 7:50 p.m. according to a rave alert. The suspect threatened a U of L student with a gun before heading west towards Jimmy John’s.

A gun was not displayed and the student was not harmed.

No arrests have been made.

This is the fourth robbery on campus in the last year according to the University of Louisville police crime reports. This does not include cases handled by LMPD.

The suspect was described as a black male with holes in his clothing. He wore a black hoodie, jeans and a gray beanie.

Students are advised to be cautious and contact police if a suspect matching the description is in the area.
