Louisville remained unbeaten in the Atlantic Coast Conference play after a 65-58 victory over NC State on Wednesday night at the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals (16-1) took control of the game early, going on an extended 20-0 run and grew their lead to as large as 17 before going into halftime 32-19.

NC State (11-6) battled back in the second half, cutting the deficit to 55-51 with 4:11 left to play.

Louisville responded with a 7-0 run to seal the game.

Sara Hammond finished with a double-double, scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Mariya Moore led the Cardinals in scoring with 17 points and added nine rebounds.

Shawnta’ Dyer added 11 points off the bench.

Louisville will face Virginia on Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center.
