Once again, Louisville fell behind early to an ACC opponent, but was able to rally behind the home crowd and an inspired Myisha Hines-Allen to defeat Miami 68-55 at the KFC YUM! Center on Sunday afternoon.

Louisville (18-2) trailed 15-4 through the first six minutes of the first half and then 27-14 before mounting a strong comeback to give them their sixth win in ACC play.

Hines-Allen scored 23 points on 10 of 11 shooting and added eight rebounds.  The freshman came off the bench after starting throughout the entire year.

Bria Smith was also held out of the starting lineup, but finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

The Cardinals led Miami 36-34 with 16:06 in the second half before going on an 11-0 run to take control of the game.

Shawnta’ Dyer started in place of Hines-Allen and had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Mariya Moore scored 13 points and had a team high seven assists.
